Important Update for US Customers

As of 29 August 2025, the United States has introduced new tariffs on most items from New Zealand: 15% on the value of goods plus shipping. The situation is still developing, and we cannot confirm whether our pieces will be exempt from these additional tariffs. We recommend that you anticipate paying these tariffs. Normal U.S. duties and taxes (approximately 3.2%) still apply to all our shipments of wooden tableware and kitchenware under HS 4419.

Shipping Options

  • DHL Express: All parcels to the USA will now be sent via DHL Express, which we will continue to use for U.S. shipments.

  • NZ Post: Previously, we relied on NZ Post for most shipments. However, NZ Post only offers a DTP (Duty and Tax Paid) option, making it difficult to calculate accurate shipping fees for individual items. As a result, NZ Post will not be available for U.S. shipments until further notice.

Important to Note

  • U.S. customers are responsible for paying all tariffs and taxes before their goods are released by U.S. Customs. DHL will contact you regarding payment.

  • We are unable to cover these costs on your behalf.

  • If tariffs and fees are not paid, the goods will be returned to us. In such cases, any refund will be minus the return shipping fee and a 10% restocking fee, in accordance with our returns policy.


New Zealand

We use a tracked courier service with NZ Post, and a tracking number will be provided once your item has been dispatched.


International

While NZ Post remains our primary international shipping provider, we now also offer an EXPRESS shipping option — a faster and more secure alternative.

Please note that the express option will not appear in the standard shipping selection at checkout. Instead, we've added a separate field where you can indicate your shipping preference.

To proceed:

  1. Please complete your purchase using the NZ Post shipping rate at checkout.

  2. If you've selected the express shipping preference, we’ll obtain a quote for you as soon as possible.

  3. Alternatively, feel free to email or message us directly — we’re more than happy to provide a custom shipping quote.

    We are not responsible to pay customs duties for international orders. If the value of your purchased products + shipping is over than the limits of the each country’s customs policy, you may be charged a customs duty. Please look up your customs policies before purchasing the item.


  • Please check your parcel’s status occasionally so that you don’t miss your delivery. We do not cover the re-delivery fee if the parcel gets sent back due to your late collection after you missed delivery and the parcel went to a local courier depot.
